I joined Sandpipers in 2018 when my daughter wanted to join Sandpiper Juniors. We had relocated to the South Bay in 2014, and while I had become involved in other philanthropy and community service, Sandpipers was the perfect fit to become more entrenched in the South Bay community, have the opportunity to learn about and work with various agency partners, and to meet other like-minded women. I never imagined the extent to which my interest in giving back would pay such dividends in terms of the amazing friendships I have developed and the pride I take from being part of such an impactful organization.
During my Sandpipers tenure, I have had the privilege to serve as Summer Arts Co-Chair, where we spent every Friday during the summer making art projects with children and senior citizens, giving them not only a chance to express their creativity but also more importantly giving us a chance to bond with them. For the past four years I served as a Co-Advisor to Sandpiper Juniors, which enables high school girls to foster their commitment to community service and philanthropy while at the same time developing leadership skills. I am so excited to join the NLD Committee this year and am look forward to having the opportunity to developing stronger relationships with future Sandpipers leaders.
Outside of my career as an attorney specializing in business litigation, I am an avid fitness enthusiast and am passionate about sports, particularly fantasy football.
