Kory Hunter Memorial Scholarship

Kory Hunter

Kory passed away at the age of 43 from brain cancer. Kory’s passion for giving back to his community and those in need, as well as his determination to live life to the fullest is exemplified in the quality of college bound graduates receiving the Sandpipers’ scholarship each year in his name. Many of these students are interested in medicine, medical research, working with children and adults with special needs, and most importantly they show great compassion and empathy for humanity.

Kory and the Hunter/Gregory Family

The Kory Hunter Memorial Fund raises money for the Sandpipers’ scholarship program. The fund was established in memory of the son, brother, husband and father of Sandpipers and Pipers members: Joanne Hunter, Mandy Gregory, Rory Hunter and Kailey Hunter.
