Amanda Starr
Director of Data Management
I joined Sandpipers in 2023, the year after I transitioned from a 20+ year career in accounting to be a stay-at-home mom. I joined this organization primarily to get involved in my community. Sandpipers has given me so much more. I have met incredible, dedicated women that I now call my friends and have seen such a positive impact in our community.
In my third year as a Sandpiper, I am honored to serve on the board as the Director of Data Management. I look forward to ensuring that our organization’s membership and donor databases are operating at the highest level. In the past, I have served on the Boutique Transactions committee as well as been the Chair responsible for Holiday Homes Tour Tickets, one of our largest (and my favorite) fundraising events
Born and raised in Southern California, my husband and I settled in the South Bay in 2007 after living in Northern California for eight years. I have a 15 year old son and a 12 year old daughter, who is also a Piper. My husband and my kiddos keep me busy while I’m not volunteering, traveling, skiing, working out, walking my dog, cooking or reading.
