Sandpipers' Fundraising Events

2010 - 2011

Sandpipers hosts 3 major fundraising events through out the year: Holiday Homes Tour, Fashion Show and For Our Children - Wine and Food Festival.  Last year we were able to raise approximately $320,000 for our South Bay Community.  The money we raise from these events is put right back into the community though various channels like our Emergency Case Work, Scholarship Program and Holiday Baskets. 

Holiday Homes Tour - The 2010 Tour will be held in December 3rd, 4th & 5th

Holiday Homes Tour is one of our largest fundraising events of the year and a wonderful way to start celebrating the holidays. Our entire membership comes together to support the community during the first weekend in December.  We select three outstanding South Bay homes, which are lavishly decorated by local designers.  The homes offer a variety of decorating styles and will surely generate unique ideas for you to try in your own home. 

During the Tour, you can visit our Holiday Boutique and Cafe for wonderful food and great shopping.  We offer unique jewelry and children’s wear, along with other great finds. A sure way to start off your holiday shopping.

Fashion Show - The Spring 2011 show will be held on March 20, 2011

On March 21, 2010, Sandpipers hosted our 18th Annual Fashion Show from the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills featuring the designs of Tory Burch . The Fashion Show is an excellent event for girlfriends, mothers, and daughters to spend the day together enjoying the fashion, luncheon and shopping.  Additionally, both Live and Silent Auction items were offered this year including trips, jewelry, beauty items and much more.  Attendees visited the boutique and had the opprotunity to purchase goods from many different vendors.  There was something for everyone; purses, jewelry, stationery goods, delicious chocolate candies to indulge in and much, much more. 

Every year the show offers an exciting fashion designer. In previous years, Sandpipers has been fortunate enough to work with Lilly Pulitzer, Maria Blanca Nero, Tina Turk, BCBG and St. John. For more information on the Fashion show contact springevents@sandpipers.org.

For Our Children - Our next Food & Wine Festival will be held in Spring 2011

On April 25, 2010, Sandpipers joined forces again with the Providence Little Company of Mary Health Foundation for an afternoon of food and wine at the Honda Presents the 25th Annual "For Our Children" event. Guests feasted on fabulous food specialties, sipped fine wine and sampled tasty beers.  They enjoyed the best that California has to offer with over 100 of the finest restaurants, wineries and breweries represented. There was a fabulous silent and live auctions which featured unique gift items, sports tickets and memorabilia, golf getaways, dining, entertainment and spa certificates and exciting travel packages.  Proceeds benefited Sandpipers philanthropic programs and Providence Little Company of Mary Children's Programs.
