Sandpipers' Fundraising Events

2008 - 2009

Sandpipers hosts 3 major fundraising events through out the year: Holiday Homes Tour, Fashion Show and For Our Children - Wine and Food Festival.  Last year we were able to raise approximately $320,000 for our South Bay Community.  The money we raise from these events is put right back into the community though various channels like our Emergency Case Work, Scholarship Program and Holiday Baskets. 

For Our Children - Tickets On Sale Now!

On April 26, 2009, Sandpipers will join forces with the Providence Little Company of Mary Health Foundation for an afternoon of food and wine at the 24th Annual "For Our Children" event .  Guests will feast on fabulous food specialties, sip fine wine and sample tasty beers.  They will enjoy the best that California has to offer with over 100 of the finest restaurants, wineries and breweries represented.  The fabulous silent and live auctions feature unique gift items, sports tickets and memorabilia, golf getaways, dining, entertainment and spa certificates and exciting travel packages.  Proceeds benefit Sandpipers philanthropic programs and Providence Little Company of Mary Healthy Kids Mobile Pediatric Van. Holiday Homes Tour

Holiday Homes Tour is one of our largest fundraising events of the year and a wonderful way to start celebrating the holidays. Our entire membership comes together to support the community during the first weekend in December.  We select three outstanding South Bay homes, which are lavishly decorated by local designers.  The homes offer a variety of decorating styles and will surely generate unique ideas for you to try in your own home. 

During the Tour, you can visit our Holiday Boutique and Cafe for wonderful food and great shopping.  We offer unique jewelry and children’s wear, along with other great finds. Be sure to bring your holiday shopping list. 

Holiday Homes Tour tickets are $25 pre-sale or $30 at the door. You can buy tickets for the 2009 event from any of your Sandpipers friends, on this website, or at neighborhood stores beginning November 2009 . Fashion Show

On March 22, 2009, Sandpipers will host our 17th Annual Fashion Show from the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills featuring Lilly Pulitzer Designs . The Fashion Show is an excellent event for girlfriends, mothers, and daughters to spend the day together enjoying the fashion, luncheon and shopping.  Additionally, both Live and Silent Auction items were offered this year including trips, jewelry, beauty items and much more.  Attendees can visit the boutique where approximately 28 vendors bring in their goods for purchase.  There's something for everyone; purses, jewelry, stationery goods, delicious chocolate candies to indulge in and much, much more. 

Every year the show offers an exciting fashion designer. In previous years, Sandpipers has been fortunate enough to work with Maria Blanca Nero, Tina Turk, BCBG and St. John. For more information on Fashion show contact springevents@sandpipers.org.
