Executive Board

This has been an amazing 10 years working alongside women who understand the meaning of volunteerism and the purpose for which Sandpipers was created. Committed to helping improve the lives of others we have worked diligently to raise funds and create programs that will support our neighbors in need. The delivery of my first Holiday Basket filled with household necessities and gifts for children to recently serving on the Scholarship Committee has shown me how professional and responsible Sandpipers is with every dollar we raise. I look forward to continuing our great work and helping women find a vehicle for which to give of their time and talents.

I am amazed to be going on my fifth year working with Sandpipers.  In the past few years I have had the privilege to work with many fantastic women in the South Bay.  Not only have I made wonderful friends along the way, I have done so while working to make things a bit easier for our neighbors. As Philanthropy Vice President I am seeing firsthand what a difference we make to so many deserving people!

It has been a joy being part of Sandpipers since 2002 and an honor to have served on the Board of Directors for 4 years. Giving back to our wonderful community, and knowing that we truly make a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need, is most rewarding...and FUN!

It is rare indeed to find a group of women so dedicated, generous and big-hearted and I am lucky to have formed friendships within Sandpipers that will last a lifetime. As this year’s Membership Vice President, I have the pleasure of leading our newest members through their Provisional Year and introducing them to, what I know for many, will be a life-elevating experience.  What a joy!

I have been honored to be part of Sandpipers since 2004.  As Operations VP, I work on the internal structure of our organizations. I am a wife, proud mother of a 10-month-old girl and a business owner. With all that I do, I find so much pleasure in helping the community while being part of Sandpipers. One of my most favorite volunteer jobs as a Sandpiper is working with Meals on wheels.  Being able to help those in need and meeting such enthusiastic elderly residents in our community has been a joy for me over the years.

My Sandpipers experience began officially in 2004.  However, I have enjoyed participating in Sandpipers events such as Holiday Baskets, Sugarplum, Fashion Show, and Holiday Homes Tour for the past twelve years with my extended family.  My experiences with Sandpipers have been varied and rewarding.  The best events are those in which I can share the philanthropic spirit with my children and husband.  As VP of Planning & Placement this year, I look forward to working with the membership to facilitate leadership opportunities and help make Sandpipers a positive experience for all of the members.

I can’t believe I am in my 4th year as a Sandpiper, the time has flown by.  I have enjoyed all my time with the organization.  This is my first year on the executive board, and it’s been a eye opening experience for me.  Its just amazes me how many people work so incredibly hard, firms would be thrilled to get this type of work from employees, but everyone here is doing it as volunteers.  I am proud to be a Sandpiper!

This is going on my fifth year volunteering for Sandpipers. I love this organization and the wonderful things we do to help so many in our local community.  I have had so many favorite memories during my years in Sandpipers, but most of all I love the fact that what we do helps our South Bay community. I have two daughters who have been and continue to be involved in Sandpiper Juniors and its wonderful when we work together.  This is my second year on the board and I now have the honor to be Secretary/Presidential Assistant. Sandpipers is an amazing group of multi-talented philanthropic ladies. The many friendships I have made are special and have been created while giving back to our community!
